What to Know Before Leaving Bali For Aussie

Have you ever lost something at the airport? You want to carry some Bali souvenir, but when you past the last security check, they said; " Sorry Mam/Sir, this item is not allowed to be carried on board, you have to leave it here." or something else that would make you feel disappointed.

Bali is a wonderful but cheap place to have your holiday, and so do the souvenir, the most common souvenir that couldn't past the last security check is Arak Bali!! It is cheap, but Bali is the only place to get it, or Bintang Bir-the local beer, cheers m8. Maybe Arak Bali and Bintang Bir aren't cost you much, but how disoppointed your friend will be  when they know that you couldn't get those things they order you to buy by the time they pick you up at the other range? OOOh My God!!!
Here are some suggestion to avoid those thing happen to you when you leaving on the jet plane:

If you are flying straight to Australia:
  • Your allowance are: 2.25 L of spirit, 250 stick of cigarette,  50 stick of cigar, and 10 pcs of cosmetic item such as fragrance or make up. The fragrance is allowed to be more than 100 ml as long as it from duty free, and it's still in sealed duty free plastic bag.All of the liquid, if its not purchased from duty free store, ore it's has been opened from it's seal bag, you are suggested to put it in your check in luggage, otherwise you'll lose it.
  • Flying with JetStar Airline, you are not allowed to get liquid more than 100 ml on board, even if it's duty free item. And if it's more than 100 ml, you better put it in your check in luggage, otherwise you'll lose it.
  • If you want to carry a wooden material, you are suggested to make sure that Australian Immigration will allowed you to carry it. Call them to make sure, otherwise you'll lose it.
If you are transit in Singapore, Hongkong, Taipei, Japan, America, Canada, no liquid more that 100 ml is allowed, if you have it, put it in the check in luggage otherwise........
